The problem

Live sport is the least forgiving traffic on earth: a dropped frame is a visible, career-adjacent failure, and the traditional insurance policies — satellite trucks and dedicated venue circuits — price like insurance. A truck day runs thousands before crew; venue fiber must be ordered months out for an event that lasts a weekend; and a golf course is eighteen small venues spread across two hundred acres, moving daily as the story moves.

The build

  • Bonded multi-carrier cellular + Starlink as the contribution path — every camera position becomes a venue, portable enough to re-rig as play moves.
  • SpeedFusion WAN smoothing on the live paths: packets duplicated across dissimilar links, so a cell-sector hiccup or a Starlink beam handoff never reaches air. Capacity is deliberately traded for certainty on program feeds; file traffic rides the efficient sub-tunnel.
  • Bonded links feed REMI workflows — camera contribution to a centralized production facility, cutting the on-site crew footprint.
  • Representative field throughput: 1.46 Gbps on a bonded Starlink array with SpeedFusion Boost — contribution-grade headroom from equipment that fits in cases.

The result

  • Live tournament coverage carried across multiple majors, F1 weekends, and SailGP regattas — without a satellite truck.
  • Carrier-level degradations absorbed silently by the bond; nothing reached air.
  • Setup measured in hours per position, not truck-days; re-rigs follow the story instead of anchoring it.
